Topic: Columbus Red Light Traffic Cameras and Safety

Details:
City of Columbus Focus on Safety Program
Eagan Foster will give a presentation about
the City of Columbus’s experience in implementing a program looking to provide a cost-effective
enforcement of traffic regulations utilizing video-camera technology. The impact of the
program on traffic engineering will be discussed, including how the timing of traffic signals was changed by new state law.

The program began in 2005 with the identification of a twenty camera network for
red-light running enforcement at eighteen intersections around the Columbus area –
primarily in the central city. Selection of locations is based on crash experience. Cameras
were installed and activated during 2006 and 2007.

Columbus City Council authorized Phase 2 of the project for an additional twenty
intersections. In the second phase of the project, the cameras have extended throughout
the community. Another new facet of the project in the second phase is speed enforcement in
school zones.

New features of Lion.
Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7) is the eighth and current major release of Mac OS X, Apple's
desktop and server operating system for Macintosh computers. Lion was released on July 20, 2011,
as announced during Apple's third quarter 2011 earnings report. Apple's promotional
webpages refer to it as OS X Lion, although press releases announcing the system's
availability included the "Mac".

world, has released their newest version. Oneiric Ocelot. It was launched, as
Ubuntu 11.10 it arrived October 13th.

03. Once these 2 programs are saved to your computer in a folder that you can locate or,
to the desktop and you can easily identify these 2 files, DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET

04. Go to the Control Panel > Select add/remove > (Programs and Features in Windows 7)
select your current antivirus program and select uninstall. (Allow it to uninstall all
features of the program)

05. Reboot your system.

06. Run the removal tool for your old Anti Virus Program saved in step #2

07. When the tool finishes running, again Reboot your system.

08. Install avast!6 Free by running the program downloaded in step #1

09. Shut down your system -- Reconnect to the internet -- Start your computer.

10. Avast!6 Free will now be installed and will update it's virus database.

11. Register your new avast!6 Free product by selecting the Register Now button.
